WHAT WOULD BLAIR WALDORF DO?

Gossip Girl here, your one and only source into the scandalous lives of Manhattan’s elite.’ Oh how I loved watching Gossip Girl. I especially enjoyed having endless marathons post flight (you know ‘just one more’ always ends up being the whole season). Apart from being outrageous (which 16 year old owns a multi million dollar business, Chuck Bass?) I loved GG because of the styling and of course for those pretty New York locations. While I was walking in good old ‘Yorkie’ last week I kept thinking: what would my life be like if I was Park Avenue princess like Blair Waldorf or Serena van der Woodsen? (I’d definitely throw in a little ‘Vanessa Brooklyn Glam’ for starters) Would my life consist of cotillions, lots of charity events and an occasional art gallery opening? Pretty much, right? Wondering where I would hang out if I’d live on the Upper East Side? Check it out below.

She’s back! This is exactly where It girl Serena van der Woodsen was spotted when she came back from ‘boarding school’ in the first episode. Grand Central station. We don’t do public transport but it’s pretty though.. 89 E 42nd street.

madison ave

One wouldn’t shop at a generic street like Broadway (too many tourists and way too Down Town) but at Madison Avenue. All the luxury brands have flagship stores over there so no out-of-stock issues. Mulberry, Chanel, Fendi, Agent Provocateur and shoe shopping at Schutz, yum!

barneys ny

Bad weather or no limo driver available to drive me from store to store? No worries, lock me up at Barneys and all is well. Everything you need is right here under one roof. 660 Madison Avenue.

I’d have a different Hermès bag for each outfit…of course..

laduree

No need to have my fave macarons flown in first class from Paris because behold, a Laduree right here on 864 Madison Avenue.

met steps

Doing a Blair on the Met steps. Now, just where are my minions..? Metropolitan Museum of Art, 1000 Fifth avenue (82nd street).

fifth ave

The most important B’s in my life would be: Barneys, Bergdorf  and (the shoe department of) Bloomingdales.. 😉

cntrl park

A Park Avenue princess doesn’t cook. She either has staff to do that or she’ll go out for brunch and lunch everyday. The perfect place to have a (liquid) lunch or afternoon tea is at Bergdorf Goodman. Nibbling away at a Gotham salad (dressing on the side) whilst overlooking lovely Central Park754 Fifth avenue.

What you think about you bring about 😉

you know you love me,

xoxo Mishanou
