MALIBU BARBIE

About twenty miles away from the Hollywood madness lies this perfect little beach suburb Malibu. Home to the rich and famous (never seen so many Porsches on the road).  And where children learn to surf before they can walk. Where to eat, where to shop? Take a look at my Malibu diary and start California dreaming..

Where the rich shop. Malibu Country Mart where you’ll find shops like,  All Saints, Lanvin, Oliver Peoples, Ralph Lauren and Zadig et Voltaire. There’s also a vintage shop, Vintage Malibu where I spotted some gorgeous Birkin bags and Chanel jewellery. 3835 Cross Creek Road.

Always looking for ‘Hidden Treasures’. Just needed to visit this vintage store. 154 S Topanga Canyon Road.

To do:

Brekkie: Plate, don’t let the minimalistic interior scare you. Clean, organic breakfast with the yummiest fresh juices. 22601 Pacific Coast Highway.

Lunch: Malibu Café, like you are having lunch in beautiful backyard. And a good reason to visit the recently opened boutique, Otte Calamigos. 327 Latigo Canyon Road. 

Dindins: Nobu, have your Kobe beef and rub shoulders with P. Diddy. 22706 Pacific Coast Highway.

Beaches:

Paradise Cove beach, El Matador beach and Point Dume.

Done with the beach? Visit the Getty Museum, dedicated to Greek and Roman art. 17985 Pacific Coast Highway.
