Curacao, the island where my roots are and where I spent most of my childhood summer vacations. It’s literally my second home. Due to the constant warm weather you can visit the island throughout the whole year. It’s only a nine-hour flight from Amsterdam to this Paradise island. Want to see my favourite hot spots? I bet you’d want to start packing!
Let’s start with a little tour around town. First stop, The Renaissance Mall with shops like Furla, Mango and Starbucks.
The Emma bridge, the only wooden floating and rotating bridge in the world. And the connection between Punda and Otrobanda.
Getting some cosmetics at Penha…how gorgeous is this building?
Fresh fruit and veggies at the Venezolaanse Barkjes. The Floating market.

-nightlife! Visit the open-air club Bermuda or have dindins and dance salsa at Asia de Cuba. Mundo Bizarro, a restaurant with a crazy beautiful interior.
