Curacao, the island where my roots are and where I spent most of my childhood summer vacations. It’s literally my second home. Due to the constant warm weather you can visit the island throughout the whole year. It’s only a nine-hour flight from Amsterdam to this Paradise island. Want to see my favourite hot spots? -lunch at Plasa Bieuw and get to know the Antillean cuisine.
-make a boat trip to Klein Curacao, a small deserted Island south-east of Curacao. A divers paradise.
-visit the beaches Cas Abou, PortoMarie and Grote Knip.
-visit the Christoffelpark, Curacao’s national park and see beautiful flora and fauna.
-nightlife! Visit the open-air club Bermuda or have dindins and dance salsa at Asia de Cuba. Mundo Bizarro, a restaurant with a crazy beautiful interior.
-do rent a car, the taxi prices are very high.
